ELENA CONDREI

 

   ELENA CONDREI (b. (Grădinaru) on September 7th, 1949, in the town of Albești, Buzău county)

Pseudonym Aida Vernescu. Journalist, editor, writer. She studied grades I-IV and the first quarter of grade VII, at the general school in Ciulnița commune, Ialomița county. Dorohoi Theoretical High School, 1967 class. She enrolled at the Pedagogical Institute, teachers section, Botoșani, and graduated in 1974. She was a full-time teacher at Borzești School, Botoșani county, 1974-1975.

In the same period, she also attended the courses of the Popular Art School, the directing and acting department. She attended the courses at the Faculty of Journalism, Bucharest (1975-1979). Director of the House of Culture in Dorohoi, 1976-1977. Teacher at various schools and high schools in Botoșani municipality, proofreader, editor, chief editor, column editor, at the daily Clopotul (1977-1994), director of the newspaper GAZETA DE BOTOSANI, 1997

 The Association of Philatelists, Maximaphilists and Cartophilists from the Republic of Moldova – Member of the European Federation of Philatelic Associations (FEPA), the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History together with the Post Office of the Republic of Moldova have issued a personalized ELENA CONDREI stamp with availability and possibility to be used according to the rules of the UPU (Universal Postal Union) in the domestic and international postal circuit, for special merits in the promotion of philately in the Republic of Moldova and special eminescological activity, on the occasion of 25 years of collaboration between the Association of Philatelists, Maximaphilists and Cartophilists from the Republic of Moldova and Association of Philatelists from Botoșani County, Romania-Chisinau, TRIBUTE PHILATELIC EXHIBITION „TIME PASSES, TIME COMES”. 8.06–30.06.2023.

The Association of Philatelists, Maximaphilists and Cartophilists of the Republic of Moldova together with the Post of the Republic of Moldova have issued a personalized postage stamp ELENA CONDREI with availability and possibility to be used according to UPU (Universal Postal Union) norms in the domestic and international postal circuit, for the promotion of Romanian cultural values, for the support of Romanianism and for her exceptional research on Eminescu`works (15-01-2015).

• • Member of the Romanian Publishers Association, 1997. Founder of the FOTOREPORTER publication, 1990.
•  • Editorial director of her own culture magazine COLLOQVIUM, 1997-1998. • Founding member of the National Foundation for Culture, Art and Literature MIHAI EMINESCU, Botoșani.
•  • Founding member of the EXPO-ART Cultural Society, Botoșani. As the founding Director of the GEEA Publishing House, she awarded prizes at the National Competition for Poetry and Critical Interpretation of the Eminem opera „Start Luceafărul”, Botoșani and at the „Magda Isanos - Eusebiu Camilar” Poetry.and Short Prose Competition Festival, Udești, Suceava, in the volume debut section. 
• • Author of the project and founding member of the Cabinet of Medals from the „Mihai Eminescu” County Library, Botoșani, 2006.
•  • President of the GEEA.ro Cultural Association, 2007 – present. 
• • Initiated and realized the project for the first medal in the country that marked NATIONAL CULTURE DAY (January 15th, 2011). In 2002, she founded the EMINESCU Awards Institution for Literature, Visual Arts, Collections and collectors, with the related medals – GOLD LEATHER and SILVER LEATHER. These awards are given annually on June 15th in honor of Mihai Eminescu, for the work OMNIA (Golden Lime), and for Debut (Silver Lime). During the 16 editions, awards were also given to newly established sections: Advertising. Librarianship, Spirituality, Restitution of History, Music, Folklore. Laureates of these awards are cultural personalities from the country and from France, Tunisia, Greece, Chile, USA, Italy, Turkey, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine. • Present in local and national Radio-TV shows, in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine
